Ricky Tomlinson returning to Yarm for night of showbiz stories, laughs and behind-the-scenes gossip
Royle Family star Ricky Tomlinson is returning to Teesside this April where he'll treat audiences to a night of laughs.
The Scouse legend has appeared on TV screens for more than 40 years and will visit the Princess Alexandra Auditorium, in Yarm, this Spring. The actor, who is best known for his role as Jim Royle in the hit TV series The Royle Family, will return to Teesside with an An Audience with Ricky Tomlinson on April 14 . The night will see Ricky take to the stage alongside special guest host Asa Murphy.
Guests can expect stories from Ricky's glittering career in showbusiness, plenty of laughs and an audience Q&A. The TV veteran has also promised plenty of behind-the-scenes gossip.

He said: "I’m really looking forward to coming back to the Princess Alexandra Auditorium in Yarm — I was there last year with Irish Annie’s and had a brilliant night. This time, I’ll be sharing stories from my showbiz life, including plenty of behind-the-scenes gossip.
"North East audiences are always fantastic, and Asa Murphy will be joining me for a chat — he’s great at getting all the best stories out of me. If you're up for a laugh, it’s going to be a great night."
The event will kick off at 7.30pm and offers guests two hours of entertainment from the mind that brought you Jim Royle and Mike Bassett. Standard tickets cost £30 and can be bought here.
