Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Debut Son Riot Rose in First Official Family Photo Shoot
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are ready to show off their boys. The superstar couple welcomed their second child in August, a son named Riot Rose who joined older brother RZA Athelston.
While multiple news outlets reported on the news (following TMZ, which broke the story), the couple never commented nor confirmed the reports … until today. Rather than go the modern route by sharing newborn snaps on social media, Rihanna and Rocky teamed with fashion photographer Miles Diggs, aka Diggzy, for a paparazzi-inspired shoot that marks the family of four’s first official photos offered to the public.

Rihanna used the global stage provided by the Super Bowl when she revealed in February that she was expecting a child while headlining the halftime show. Ahead of the Arizona outing, the superstar singer opened up about how motherhood affected her decision to take the stage. At the time, she and Rocky’s first son was 9 months old. “When you become a mom, there’s something that just happens where you feel like you could take on the world — you can do anything. And the Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world, so as scary as that was … there’s something exhilarating about the challenge of it all,” she explained. “It’s important for my son to see that.”
Around the same time, she also graced the cover of British Vogue along with Rocky and RZA. She told the magazine during the cover story interview that she was “down for whatever” when asked whether she was interested in expanding her family. “My wish would be I would like to have more kids, but whatever God wants for me, I’m here. Girl, boy, whatever.”
Rihanna’s Super Bowl special is currently nominated for five Emmy Awards including outstanding live variety special, a nod that she shares with executive producer Jay-Z.
