Stars from the worlds of music, fashion and Hollywood converged at London's Royal Albert Hall on Monday night for the 2019 Fashion Awards.

Prior to the ceremony presented by Tracee Ellis Ross, which was topped off with a surprise performance by Eric Clapton singing 'Layla', VIPs sat down for a star-studded dinner.

Alexa Chung, a neon-dressed Kylie Minogue and Fleabag's very own hot priest Andrew Scott posed at the dinner, smiling for the cameras with glasses of red wine.

Scott appeared to be a popular guest on the night, as he was later pictured with actress Ella Balinska.

The night's biggest honoree was Giorgio Armani, who picked up the Outstanding Achievement Award for his extraordinary career in fashion.

He walked the red carpet with actress Julia Roberts, who wore a sparkling black Armani jumpsuit and took to the stage later in the evening with Cate Blanchett to thank Armani for inspiring "generations of women" who spent their first paychecks on an Armani suit.

Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke was a vision in yellow with hairstylist Sam McKnight, who also picked up an award.

After being spotted flying into town a few days earlier, Rihanna also attended dressed in her namesake brand Fenty.

The star collected the award for Urban Luxe for her new label, which she launched to acclaim with luxury giant LVMH earlier this year. Her award was presented by Janet Jackson. "Thank you to Mr Bernard Arnault for believing in me as a young black woman and in my talent" she said in her acceptance speech.

The Fenty designer also threw her own star-studded after party on the night, which included Liam Payne, Maya Jama as well as models including Winnie Harlow, Victoria's Secret angel Leomie Anderson, Adut Akech and Cindy Crawford's daughter Kaia Gerber. Naturally, the host was in attendance too and Rihanna changed into a more laid back all black outfit for the evening.
