Riot Police Push Back Yellow Vest Protesters Ahead of Macron Arrival in Bourgtheroulde

Police pushed back yellow vest protesters from the main street of Bourgtheroulde in Normandy, France, on January 15, ahead of the arrival of President Emmanuel Macron.

Macron was in town to address a gathering of 600 mayors at a national debate where the president hoped to resolve issues raised by the yellow vest, or “gilets jaunes,” protests.
