Rioter disguised himself as a pig to throw missiles at migrant hotel
A rioter who disguised himself as a pig to taunt guests at a Staffordshire migrant hotel has been jailed. Jordan Winyard donned the animal mask before throwing missiles at the Holiday Inn Express hotel.
The 28-year-old also targeted police officers and police dogs trying to quell the trouble in Tamworth on August 4 - the day after mass disorder erupted in Hanley. But despite his efforts to hide his face, Winyard was identified through CCTV.
He is among several yobs to have been jailed after the hotel was targeted by a group 'protesting' about asylum seekers held inside. The gathering turned ugly with three petrol bombs, bricks and other objects thrown.
