'RIP, Meat Loaf': UK Beauty Salon Patrons Rock Out to Iconic Belter

Meat Loaf fans in the UK paid tribute to the singer after his family announced his death on his official Facebook page on Friday, January 21.

Footage filmed by Angie Monroe at her beauty salon in North Worcestershire shows customers waving their arms to Meat Loaf’s hit song Bat Out of Hell, which Monroe decided to play when she found out about the singer’s passing this morning.

“My husband messaged me and I saw the notification on my watch,” she told Storyful.

“I love Meat Loaf, I grew up listening to him. Truly gutted,” she said.

Meat Loaf, born Marvin Lee Aday, died “surrounded by his wife Deborah, daughters Pearl and Amanda and close friends,” according to the post on his Facebook page. He was 74. Credit: Angie Monroe Salon via Storyful
