According to reports, the popstar had been visiting friends in the affluent district of West London, strolling by Colville Gardens before stopping to enjoy a drink in the sunshine.

But around five minutes after she walked by a residential street, the serene atmosphere was broken by the sound of gunfire, and chaos ensued as armed officers rushed to the scene.

It is understood that no one was injured in the alleged attack that took place around 2pm, though there had been evidence of a discharged firearm in the area.

They added: “There was evidence that a firearm had been discharged. A crime scene is currently in place and officers remain on scene. There have been no arrests and enquiries are ongoing.
