Rita Ora had fans confused about her unusual outfit choice during yesterday’s performance at Soccer Aid.

The singer and Unicef UK ambassador took to the pitch at half-time to perform her new track ‘Ritual’ and while she wowed the crowd with her performance, viewers couldn’t help but find themselves distracted by her outfit.

Perhaps she was trying to kick-start a new denim trend or maybe she just couldn’t decide how to dress for the unpredictable British weather, but the popstress opted for jeans with one leg to the floor and the other fashioned into a pair of shorts.

The top half, featured a white slashed top, had fans wondering if it had been accidentally shredded in the washing machine.

The singer finished the look with some on-trend chunky trainers.

Many of those watching at home were thrown by the look and took to Twitter to express their confusion:

But not everyone criticised the outfit.

Numerous viewers also took to social media to praise the star’s performance and styling.

Following the performance Rita took to Instagram to share her gratitude for the support.

“Thank you to my amazing dancers and the amazing crew who were part of my @socceraid #RITUALperformance tonight!,” she wrote.

“We really made some magic out there!”

It isn’t the first time the star’s outfit choices have caused a buzz. Boasting a wardrobe filled to the brim with feathers, leather, lace, chunky boots and flesh-flashing splits, Rita’s outfits certainly can’t be called boring.

Say what you will, you can’t deny it is somewhat refreshing to see someone pushing the fashion boundaries.

And no doubt we’ll all be sporting the one-legged jean look by the end of the summer.
