Rival Rattlesnakes Battle It Out on Georgia Trail

Two male rattlesnakes were caught fighting over a female along a trail in Webster County, Georgia, video released by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources on September 17 showed.

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Resources Division (Georgia DNR Wildlife) said the snakes were found by a wildlife technician who was checking hunter access trails for obstructions in the Lanahassee Wildlife Management Area.

The technician found the two timber rattlesnakes fighting over who deserved a female snake nearby, Georgia DNR Wildlife said.
