RNLI lifeboat charity bring in migrants picked up in the English Channel
Thirty-three migrants were brought into Dungeness, southern England, aboard a lifeboat on 16 December. The lifeboat was operated by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), a charity that saves lives at sea. The boat landed on a beach with a receding tide. Huge numbers of refugees and migrants have crossed the English Channel in small boats this year.
