Road Authorities Work to Clear North California Highway of Towering Snow
Road authorities in Northern California worked to clear Interstate 80 on Sunday, March 5, after a winter storm blanketed the region in heavy snow.
Footage released by California Highway Patrol (CHP) shows a truck clearing snow on eastbound lanes near Alta.
“Caltrans crews have been working hard day and night in order to clear up approximately 60 miles of freeway, while working in inclement weather conditions,” CHP tweeted.
The National Weather Service said the wintry weather would ease over the new week, with warmer weather possible next weekend. Credit: California Highway Patrol via Storyful
