Road closed after crash involving taxi and black cab

Police sealed off a road this afternoon following a two vehicle crash. Croxteth Road in Toxteth was closed in both directions after a crash between a private hire taxi and a black cab.

Emergency services were called to reports of a crash at around 2.15pm on Wednesday, November 27. There were reports of slow traffic in the area while emergency services dealt with the incident.

Buses were diverted while the road was cleared. There were no major injuries, Merseyside Police said.
