Road closure and temporary traffic signals in place at major Grimsby junction

A road closure and temporary traffic signals are in place at a major junction in Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire Council have announced.

Cadent Gas is currently carrying out equipment upgrades on Weelsby Road, Hainton Avenue and Peaks Lane. Temporary traffic signals are in place at the junction and a road closure is in place on Hainton Avenue.

Recto Avenue and Revigo Avenue are also closed at the junction of Weelsby Road until Monday, February 17.

Following this, work will move along Hainton Avenue, with temporary traffic signals once again in use. The next closure on Hainton Avenue, north of Welholme Road, will be in place from Monday, February 24 to Monday, March 17.

The final phase of the works will see Cadent Gas continue upgrades along Peaks Lane from Thursday, April 3 to Monday, June 12. Temporary traffic lights will be in operation throughout this phase, but no closures are anticipated.
