Autumn is here, with darker and colder nights returning. Many people will be back to their usual routines, but it is still important to ensure which roadworks in Coventry are happening to ensure you get to school or work on time.

Kenilworth Road is set to be closed for a month as HS2 works take place, with bus diversion routes in place from September 30 to October 25. There are many roadworks in the city from footway reconstructions, cycle lane installations, drainage works, footway installations, and HS2 installations for new bridges and structures.

  • Over Street - road closure from 7:30am-4pm until Friday, October 25 for footway improvements.

  • Wyken Avenue - road closure from 7:30am-4pm until Friday, November 8 for footway improvements.

  • Oldfield Road -road closure from 7:30am-4pm until Friday, November 15 for footway improvements.

  • Albany Road - 3-way lights from 9:30am-3:30pm until Friday, October 4 for footway reconstruction.

  • Hastings Road - footway closure from 7:30am-4pm until Friday, October 4 for footway reconstruction.

  • Bennetts Road South - 2-way lights from 8am-4pm until Friday, November 14 for S278 works.

  • Second Avenue - lane closure from 7:30am-4pm until Friday, October 3 for cycleway construction.

  • Stivichall Interchange - road closure from 7pm-5am until Wednesday, October 2 for carriageway resurfacing.

  • Frankton Avenue - road closure from 8am-5pm until Thursday, October 10 for carriageway recycling resurfacing.

  • Cannon Park Road - road closure from 8am-5pm until Tuesday, October 15 for carriageway recycling resurfacing.

  • Crampers Field - 24-hour road closure until Friday, November 8 for drainage works.
