A roast dinner pizza has arrived in London

A lot of weird things come to London, but a roast dinner pizza? This is obviously peak food fad.

Say hello (or no thanks) to the Roast Dinner Pizza: an 'inventive' twist on a timeless British classic, say the guys and gals at Pizza Express.

The Beef & Horseradish romana (it's posh name) is loaded with generous amounts of roast beef, lashings of horseradish sauce and a load of roast potatoes. All of it sits on top of a passata base with red onion and rosemary. Sounds gross, but we tried it and it was surprisingly lovely. It just needed a few yorkshires and life would have been complete.

The quirky roast dinner pizza is part of Pizza Express's Christmas specials menu, and by specials we basically mean, bonkers.

Alongside the doughy roast, maple-glazed ham and a potato & fontal romano will also be on offer. All can be washed down with a cheeky Chambord Royale or an intensely rich orange hot chocolate.

Dessert? Expect a devilishly sweet caramel and pear gelato along with the return of the chain's now infamous Snowball dough balls – and yes, they are loaded with extra cinnamon and icing sugar this year, too.
