Robber pushed man to ground and stole his backpack moments after both got off bus
Police are appealing for information after a man was pushed to the ground and robbed of his bag.
The victim, in his 40s, and the suspect has both alighted the number 12 Stagecoach bus on Dalby Way in Coulby Newham just before the incident at about 7.15pm on Sunday, September 22. The robber, who was wearing a light-coloured tracksuit, pushed the man to the floor and hurled verbal abuse before snatching his backpack.
He then made off towards the Parkway Day Nursery on Cropton Way. The backpack was a blue Fred Perry bag with white stitching around the edges and pockets while the suspect is described as a white male, around 6ft and of proportionate build.

A Cleveland Police appeal said: "Any witnesses to the incident or anyone with further information is asked to contact Middlesbrough CID on 101, quoting reference number 183188.
