Helen Flanagan is in a relationship with Robbie Talbot and she recently celebrated her 34th birthday with him. The pair are often snapped looking loved-up and Helen regularly shares pictures of the two of them to her social media pages.

The former Coronation Street actress' relationship with Robbie became public during her stint on the E4 reality show Celebs Go Dating. Though she had been rumoured to be dating him before joining the series, she confirmed the romance early in the show’s 2024 run.

The new romance follows Helen's split from Bristol Rovers footballer Scott Sinclair in 2022. The two were together for thirteen years and in that time had a four-year engagement. It seems Robbie has fitted into the family as Helen has taken to Instagram a couple of times showing days out, including one to Formby Beach. Adorable pictures showed the pair hugging and having fun with other pictures showing Robbie and the actresses three children, Matilda, Delilah and Charlie.

Robbie, who was born in Liverpool is a former non-league footballer. The 45-year-old played as a striker for a number of clubs including Rochdale, Marine and Morecambe. Who is Robbie Talbot?

Helen Flanagan's partner Robbie Talbot was born in Liverpool on October 31, 1979. He has two daughters, Sophie and Corina. The 45-year-old has been a big name in non-league football over the years despite never making it to professional level. At the age of 18 Robbie completed 12 months in the Rochdale youth team before signing for Marine, located in Crosby, in 1998.

The scouser played for other clubs throughout his career, including stints at Morecambe and Burton. Robbie scored a total of 113 goals from 198 appearances during his time as a footballer. He retired from football during a spell at Ashton due to a series of injuries in the 2009-2010 season. In 2010, Robbie moved into coaching and became assistant manager to his previous club Ashton. He retired from this role after one season due to family and work commitments.

How did Helen and Robbie meet?

In an interview with OK! Magazine last month, the new couple spoke about how they first met. Helen said "I actually wasn't supposed to be meeting anyone, I actually was thinking I'm going to have 2024 being on my own, finding myself, doing my own thing, I wasn't supposed to meet any men."

The actress said there was "something different" about Robbie and he was the "funniest" guy she had ever met. The pair met in a bar, San Carlo in Alderley Edge, Cheshire. The football coach recalled remembering the moment Helen walked into the bar as he was having a couple of pints with his mate. He joked "We just fired in and had a laugh".

Although Robbie admits he is not very romantic, Helen disagreed telling him he does all the "little things" that are really important to her and he is romantic without meaning to be. The soap star said her kids love Robbie and they all get along well - including his own two daughters.

Helen and Robbie were in Dublin recently with the 34-year-old actress sharing a video of herself ahead of date night wearing a grey dress and stockings as she glammed up for the romantic date. The soap star posed for her fans and twirled around to show her complete outfit. Writing in the caption, Helen said: "My date night reel I did in Dublin."
