Yahoo News Robbie Williams drops alternative 'Mixed Signals' video
Robbie Williams was certainly getting mixed signals in his latest music video, but a new alternative ending suggests why that may be the case.
To recap – the singer's original video saw him spend the night haranguing his love interest with texts and missed calls to come over.
Yet she is on a girls' night out trying to have some fun, though at one point she flirts with another man that she almost goes home with – albeit for the intervention of her friends.
At the end of the original video, we see her finally head to Robbie's, though as she sleeps he discovers a picture of the guy she was flirting with.
In the new version, however, we get a much more interesting twist – instead of going up to Robbie's place, she heads to another woman's for a bit of intimacy.
Oh, and her lover is played by the singer's real-life wife Ayda Field.
Meanwhile, Robbie is certainly not getting mixed signals from Ant & Dec in a new skit for Saturday Night Takeaway this weekend.
In a preview clip, the star is dictated things to say to a party planner by the hosts, and one person he is forced to blacklist is none other than Gary Barlow. And we thought that hatchet was buried!
Robbie also performed on the Let It Shine final with his former Take That bandmates last weekend, making us all even more eager for a full band reunion.
