Robbie Williams fans warned they will be 'appalled' by new Netflix documentary

Robbie Williams fans have been warned they will be "appalled" and "surprised" by his new Netflix docu-series.

A new teaser from the upcoming self-titled series was released on Thursday and showed previously unseen footage of the former Take That star.

As the clip continued a message appeared which read: "Prepare to be shocked, appalled, surprised, intrigued, amazed, stunned, aroused."

The Let Me Entertain You star has already promised the "raw, honest and real" documentary will deal with mental illness, sex and drugs.

As a series of images from some of his iconic performances flashed up on screen, Robbie confessed: I'm just a k**head from Stoke-on-Trent... there was jealousy."

In one throwback clip of Robbie, the star was seen backstage before a show as he joked about his nerves.

"I really wish I did something else for a living," he laughed to the camera.

The 49-year-old star was also seen talking to his children with wife Ayda Field in another piece of footage filmed more recently.

"You'll be able to watch the documentary when you're much older," he said.

When one of the kids asked him what had happened during his career, Robbie replied: "A lot."

The four-part show, which will feature 30 years of "intimate" clips and "unseen footage" from Robbie's "personal archives", will be released later this year.
