Robbie Williams Performed At Long-Time Manager David Enthoven's Funeral

Robbie Williams was left heartbroken by the death of his long-term manager David Enthoven earlier this month and yesterday paid his respects to the beloved music executive by performing at his funeral.

Robbie had worked with David since he was in Take That back in the 90s until he was diagnosed with cancer.

700 mourners turned up to pay tribute to David at the service in Chelsea, London, and the Mirror report that Robbie teamed up with his songwriting partner Guy Chambers, who played guitar, to give a heartfelt rendition of ‘Moon River’.

Lucy Pullin is said to have performed Robbie’s hit song 'Angels’ with a full choir and fellow popstar Lemar sang 'Jerusalem’.

When news of the 72 year old’s death broke Robbie took to social media to pay tribute, writing: “My friend, mentor and hero passed away today.

"David Enthoven, I love you. RIP X”.

Robbie has always publicly praised David for his hard work and in 2007 he sent a video message to David and his business partner Rim Clark after they won the Robertson Taylor 'Peter Grant’ Award for outstanding achievement at the Music Managers Forum Awards.

In the video the popstar gushed: “I just want to express how much I love you and how much you mean to me.

"Music is the best kept secret in the music industry. As luck and fate would have it God put me in the hands of two of the most capable men in the industry today.

"I definitely wouldn’t be as healthy as I am today if it wasn’t for you. When I grow up I want to be like you; I will never go anywhere else.

"You’ve got me for life.”
