Robert Pattinson casts doubt on FKA Twigs engagement and blasts 'crack troop of crazy' Twilight fans

Robert Pattinson has cast doubt on his (supposed) impending nuptials to FKA Twigs and says the couple are only ‘kind of’ engaged.

Ohh, we see.

The 31-year-old actor has been dating the singer since 2014 and a year later, rapper T Pain let slip that the pair had become engaged.

Twigs even wears a ring on that finger, so when the Hollywood star was interviewed on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show on Tuesday and he was pushed to confirm the news, everyone was expecting a straight answer.

When asked if he had ‘popped the question’ to his beau, Robert said: ‘Yeah, kind of.’

The Twilight actor also addressed their secretive relationship, revealing he keeps his love life under wraps because he’s worried about ‘crazy’ fans who believe his romance is a conspiracy.

‘It’s one of the most frustrating things in the world, because you want to be able to do that [show PDA], but to get kind of stuck in a position where, like, you have to make the decision … Do you want to let, kind of, crazy people in, because for whatever reason with Twilight there’s like, a crack troop of crazies who think
every decision you’re making is creating some kind of conspiracy. And so you kind of think, to protect it, I want to create a big boundary between it, but then it makes it difficult for your actual relationship.’

But that didn’t stop Robert saying he thinks his partner is an ‘amazing’ person, and ‘super talented, and from a totally different world.’

In that case, we’ll hold out a bit longer for our wedding invitation!
