At least three people were killed by a Russian rocket attack in the city of Kostyantynivka in Ukraine’s Donetsk Oblast on Friday, March 24, according to the regional prosecutor’s office.
The office said a Russian S-300 anti-aircraft missile hit a building being used as a so-called “point of invincibility”, the name given to places where people can come to stay warm and access electricity and the internet.
The building also housed displaced and homeless people, according to Suspilne News
Three women, aged 57 to 62, were killed. The women were from Bakhmut, Chasiv Yaru and the village of Opytne, Suspilne said. Two people were reported injured.
The head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, said 10 people were inside the building at the time of the attack. Credit: Donetsk Police via Storyful
