Rocket Streaks Across Skies of Pooler, Georgia

The Atlas V rocket launching Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft to the International Space Station was sighted far and wide after it lifted off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida on December 20.

This footage, filmed by Twitter user Ethan Payne, shows the Atlas V streaking across the skies of Pooler, Georgia.

The Starliner went off course after the launch, with Boeing stating that the craft “experienced an off-nominal insertion” but was in a “safe and stable configuration” in orbit.
