Rockford Streets Hit Hard by Flash Flooding

The streets of Rockford, Illinois were filled with rainwater on June 18, 2018 as a torrential downpour hit the city.

The Rockford Register Star reported that multiple roadways were flooded including Auburn Street, Charles Street, Guilford Road, Jackson Street, Prospect Street and Fairview Boulevard, and the storm had also caused power outages and caused manholes to pop from their casings.
