An iconic rom-com movie widely considered 'one of the very best' is back on Netflix a whole 14 years after its release.

The streaming giant is ringing in the New Year with the return of 2011's Crazy, Stupid, Love and its star-studded cast, which includes Emma Stone, Ryan Gosling, Steve Carrell and Julianne Moore. It was hugely successful critically, winning two People's Choice Awards and earned Gosling a Golden Globe nomination.

It follows recently separated Cal (Steve Carrell), whose desperate attempts to find himself a date in bars catches the attention of Jacob (Ryan Gosling). This is while Jacob's own confidence takes a hit as he is rejected by Hannah (Emma Stone) who turns out to be Cal's daughter.

Everything that proceeds this is rom-com gold, as throughout the rest of the film, Jacob and Hannah enjoy a whirlwind romance which leads to one of the best scenes of the last couple of decades where they re-enact the Dirty Dancing lift - of course they do.

Golding and Stone have proved to have amazing and unworldly chemistry over the years, and it all started with this romantic comedy classic.

Crazy, Stupid, Love grossed a worldwide total of $145 million against its $50 million production at the time of its release. Not huge numbers, but it has since gone on to earn a place in the hearts of many, whether it be for its light-hearted storyline, or the relationships that unfold over its 1hr 58min runtime.
