Roman Kemp shows off ripped abs after 12 week fitness programme

Capital FM DJ Roman Kemp has unveiled the results of a fitness regime by sharing pictures of his toned abs on Instagram,

Kemp, who is the son of Spandau Ballet singer and actor Martin Kemp, informed his friends and followers on his social media account that he had undergone a 12 week programme with personal trainer Bradley Simmonds.

Posting a series of pictures of what he looked like before he began training and after the programme came to an end, Kemp added the caption: “Not one for posting a photo like this but I wanted to say a huge thank you to @bradleysimmonds for convincing me to do his #12weektransformation best training I’ve ever had and provided me with the results I wanted. Thank you mate x.”

Shortly after he published the post, the radio DJ received praise from his fans and famous friends including Vicky Pattison and Professor Green.

Love Island star Kem Cetinay also expressed how impressed he was when he posted: “Yes this is sick! Well done bro.”

“YES MATE,” came the response from Joel Dommett.

Marvin Humes commented: “Smashed it bro.”

Whilst Kemp showed the results of Simmonds’ 12 week transformation, the personal trainer revealed how he achieved Kemp’s ripped physique.

Sharing the same picture of Kemp on his own Instagram page, Simmonds explained: “12 weeks of pure dedication has got Roman looking and feeling unreal.

“Being a vegan it was a test for me to get his nutrition spot on ensuring he was consuming enough protein to ensure he was developing muscle whilst shredding the body fat% to build a strong lean physique. But we managed and we had Roman eating good plates of food.”

The personal trainer went on to add: “How did we do it? ⁣4/5 sessions a week focusing on HYPERTROPHY strength finishing each session building his engine (HIIT) with solid nutrition to follow.”

Explaining that Kemp stuck to his training schedule despite his hectic schedule, Simmonds went on to reveal that Kemp’s body fat decreased from 25% to 9.5%.⁣”The picture on the right speaks for itself.⁣ Now all he has to do is maintain his results which he will easily do with the knowledge he’s sponged over the last 12 weeks,” he added.
