Roman Kemp has taken to Instagram to clear up some confusion over a snap which left his 1.4m social media followers baffled.

The former Capital FM presenter has been enjoying his spare time while he's away from his hosting role at The One Show but has continued to keep fans updated on his social media.

He took to Instagram to recommend a Thai restaurant called LumLum on Tuesday as he uploaded a snap of the venue's sign.

However, the 31-year-old received many comments about his story overnight and has now scolded fans for their dirty thoughts as his snap took an X-rated turn due to the front featured on the sign, the Mirror reports.

Taking to his Instagram stories on Wednesday, Roman shared his disappointment as he wrote: "You're all sick in the head! I was just showing appreciation for the great restaurant."

The radio host recently opened up about another more serious issue on his mind after his dad, Martin Kemp, revealed that he believes he has just ten years left to live.

The 62-year-old, who is best known for being the bassist in 80s pop band, Spandau Ballet, was diagnosed with two brain tumours back in the 1990s and underwent radiotherapy and surgery to have them both removed.

The One Show aired an emotional interview on Monday May 13 as part of BBC Children in Need's Heaviest Backpack campaign where Roman looked at snaps taken during his father's recovery and confessed they made him feel both thoughtful and scared.

He said: "These pictures are always quite precious to me because my dad is in full recovery here for the two brain tumours he had. I always look at these pictures and think about how scary it is that they might never have existed.

"I look at this and I kind of think this was a great time because this was the last time I didn’t have any worries in my life."

The father and son duo launched Roman's latest project together in early May and have since been hosting the podcast FFS! My Dad Is Martin Kemp.

Discussing their shared venture: Roman said: "I did the podcast because people are always telling me that my dad being the celebrity that he is and the ‘legend’ that they say he is, I should always take as much advice off him as possible, so I always wanted to make sure that I knew everything about different subjects and advice that he would give me after he’s dead.

"Because let’s be honest, we all die, and at some point, he thinks within the next 14 years, he’s gonna die. So why not write it all down?

"And also, given the title, I wanted to be able to say that it’s quite annoying having to get all this knowledge just because of who he is. So, it quite literally is ‘FFS’!"
