Get a Room: Male and Female Snakes Found in Queensland Air Con Unit During Mating Season

A snake catcher extracted two brown tree snakes – a male and a female – from an air conditioning unit in a home in Tinbeerwah, Queensland.

In video posted to Facebook on August 23, local snake catcher Luke Huntley, who owns Snake Catcher Noosa, slowly removes two brown tree snakes from the air conditioner. He said it was breeding season and that the male snake followed the female snake inside.

“So the female was already there and the boy went in looking for her. This is very normal at this time of year (Spring),” Huntley wrote in a Facebook post. “These two love birds were going to be making snake babies inside the aircon.” Credit: Snake Catcher Noosa via Storyful
