Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jason Statham announce birth of baby boy

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jason Statham have welcomed a baby boy into the world.

The model has given birth to the couple’s first child and announced the news on Wednesday by sharing a black and white photo of their newborn son’s adorable tiny hand.

“Our little man arrived! Jack Oscar Statham 8.8lbs on Saturday June 24th,” she captioned the sweet image.

The 30-year-old beauty announced her pregnancy on Instagram in February, writing: “Very happy to share that Jason and I are expecting!! Lots of love Rosie x Photo by @jasonstatham”

Jason is yet to share the news of the arrival on his social media but he’s been very busy preparing for the arrival of their little bundle of joy and the tot’s nursery.

A source shared with E! News: “Rosie and Jason are looking forward to becoming parents. They are starting to get their nursery together. They are just such a lovely couple and really in love.”

Back in April, we reported that his Expendables co-star Sylvester Stallone had signed up for baby sitting duties.

A source said at the time: “The chat always seems to be parenthood. It’s not a sight you expect – two action heroes talking about nappy duty over a beer in the back garden.

“Rosie and Jason are so fond of Sly and he’s like their baby guru. He has said 1,000 times he’d love to babysit their child.”
