Rough Seas Batter Spanish Islands as Wintry Storms Continue

Storms including Storm Fien and a mass of cold Arctic air meant continued unsettled, wintry weather for much of Spain on Wednesday, January 18, with regions in the north the worst hit.

Spain’s meteorological service AEMET issued orange alerts for snow and wind that extended from northern parts to Andalusia.
