Former Emmerdale actor Roxanne Pallett has revealed she is expecting her first child with her firefighter husband Jason Carrion.
The 38-year-old began dating the US-born Carrion less than a year after her controversial Celebrity Big Brother stint in 2018 which saw her accuse Ryan Thomas of punching her before later claiming she had "got it wrong".
Pallett, who now lives in New York, told the Mirror: "I now know what ‘happy ever after’ feels like.
“To have such a beautiful life here and be blessed with the most incredible husband and our little baba on the way… my mum’s already knitting for England.
“My husband is driving round at all hours getting me pizza and cookies. We’re in a bubble of excitement.”
The pair tied the knot in January 2020, a year after Pallett split from former fiancé Lee Walton.
Pallett made headlines during her Celebrity Big Brother stint after claiming to have been physically hurt by Thomas.

She later walked from the show and told presenter Emma Willis in a follow-up interview that she had got the situation “massively wrong” and apologised to Thomas, who eventually won the series.
The incident prompted over 25,000 complaints to Ofcom at the time, with Channel 5 later being cleared by the broadcasting watchdog.
Pallett was dropped from her job on local radio in Yorkshire in the fallout and also lost a pantomime role.
In June 2019, Pallett said she had suffered hair loss and extreme paranoia in the aftermath of the controversy.
