Day three at Royal Ascot is upon us as the Gold Cup takes centre stage.

Stradivarius will have another attempt at equalling history after falling short last year as he went for a fourth straight triumph, though Kyprios could well spoil the party and hand victory to Aidan O’Brien instead.

Elsewhere on Thursday, the action kicks off with the The Norfolk Stakes, followed by The King George V Stakes and The Ribblesdale Stakes.

The Gold Cup is followed by The Britannia Stakes, The Hampton Court Stakes and finally The Buckingham Palace Stakes.

The Prince of Wales’s Stakes was the feature race on day two, with odds-on favourite Bay Bridge beaten by State Of Rest.
