The arrival of the Duke and Duchess’ third child, a baby boy at 11:01am this morning, has seen the UK go royal baby mad once again.

The baby boy is now fifth in line to the throne, behind his grandfather, Prince Charles, father Prince William and siblings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte - bumping Prince Harry to sixth-in-line.

And the new addition to the fold already has a pretty impressive title. According to Town & Country, the new prince will go by His Royal Highness Prince (name) of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

However, despite the impressive-sounding title, the newborn is actually considered to be a commoner.

This is because only the Sovereign and peers of the realm, like Dukes, Marquess’, Earls, Viscounts, and Barons aren’t considered commoners.

Which means, until his wedding on May 19 where he will become the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry is still considered a commoner.

The new prince will likely lose his commoner title as he gets older and becomes a Duke.
