Royal County Down: NI golf club rated 'best in the world' seeking applications for top job
A Northern Ireland golf club rated the 'best in the world' has advertised for a top post at the club.
Royal County Down's reputation stretches beyond the shores of County Down and has been hailed by the likes of Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods.
It was recently ranked number one in Golf Digest's Top 100 courses outside of the United States of America.

It was also the venue for this month's Irish Open which was won by Denmark's Rasmus Hojgaard.
And now RCD is seeking a new General Manager, a prestigious job that carries plenty of clout - and responsibility.
Clarendon Executives, who are leading the hunt for the new GM, say the new person in charge will oversee the club's operations and deliver "exceptional service" and uphold its "global reputation".

"For over 130 years, the members’ focus on being best in class and their commitment to constant investment in the courses and facilities has created this iconic club. The Club is forward-thinking and progressive, with exciting further development plans.
"Behind the scenes, a great deal of work is involved in orchestrating and managing the day-to-day operations of the Club, which ultimately rests with the General Manager. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Club’s operations, delivering exceptional service, and upholding its global reputation.

"This role requires an assured and visible leader who can manage and inspire a multidisciplinary team, navigate relationships with members, guests, and external partners, and oversee a range of service improvement initiatives and capital investment projects.
"It requires at least five years experience in a senior or general management role, a strong understanding of high-end service delivery, financial acumen, resource and project management skills, with the capability to execute strategies.
