Royal expert brands Prince William and Harry’s rift 'unbridgeable'
A royal expert has had her say on the feud between Prince William and Prince Harry, describing the rift between as 'unbridgeable'. The future king was unlikely to 'waste any of his life thinking about his brother', according to Jennie Bond.
The former BBC Royal correspondent weighed in on rumours William would not invite Harry to his coronation when the day arrived. She told OK! magazine: "You can only go to a coronation if you are invited and, at this stage, I suspect Harry would not be invited."
She continued: "I agree that the rift between William and Harry looks unbridgeable. I don't think William wastes any of his life thinking about his brother, though we know that Harry has said he would like to have some kind of reconciliation."

However she said William's coronation was "hopefully someway away" and it was "possible that William's attitude may have softened somewhat by then" - although she 'wouldn't hold her breath'. Many have predicted the next time the brothers would meet face-to-face would likely be at their father, King Charles', funeral, the Mirror reports.
Jennie said it would be "unthinkable that Harry would not be at his own father's funeral", adding: "We have seen how he can attend state occasions without interacting with his family. Only time will tell whether that will still be the case when the day comes."
Prince Harry stepped back from royal duties in January 2020, when he moved to the States with wife Meghan Markle. Revelations made in Harry's 2023 memoir Spare, reportedly caused even more tension within the Royal family.
