The royal family paid tribute to Princess Beatrice on her 32nd birthday on Saturday (8 August) by sharing a lovely photograph of the newlywed with her grandmother, the Queen.
In the stunning snap, posted on the official @TheRoyalFamily Instagram account, Her Majesty and Beatrice can be seen laughing happily together as they attend a joint engagement at York Minster.
The accompanying caption reads: "Wishing Princess Beatrice a very Happy Birthday!" followed by cake and balloon emojis.

It continues: "Her Royal Highness is The Queen's 5th grandchild. This 📸 was taken when The Princess joined her grandmother at a Maundy Thursday Service at York Minster."
It's clear from the photo that the Queen and Princess Beatrice share a close bond, something which was also illustrated on the young royal's wedding day to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi on 17 July.
The Queen lent a vintage dress to her granddaughter for her wedding day, and even let Beatrice wear the very same tiara she wore to her own wedding to Prince Philip back in 1947.
Royal fans were loving the sweet birthday post, and it has since been inundated with thousands of likes and happy birthday messages to Beatrice.
