Royal Mail to launch Game of Thrones stamp collection

The Royal Mail has announced that a Game of Thrones Stamp collection is coming.

The postal service announced that fans of the show will be able to purchase ten stamps featuring characters from houses Stark, Targaryen, Lannister and Tyrell.

There will also be five more stamps available on a Stamp Sheet featuring characters such as The Night King and White Walkers, plus the coveted Iron Throne itself.

The US show which is mainly filmed in Northern Ireland, features a predominantly British and Irish cast.

Some of the Actors to feature on the stamps include Emilia Clarke who plays Daenerys Tagaryen and Kit Harrington who plays Jon Snow.

Alongside the stamps, fans will be able to purchase limited edition gifts and collectibles consisting of Stamp books, maps, framed stamps and Game of Thrones medals.

The stamp collection’s release comes ahead of the HBO show’s eighth and final series which is expected to air in 2019.

Fans can purchase the themed stamps at Post Office branches across the UK from 23 January.

Alternatively they are available to preorder from the Royal Mail website.
