RuPaul’s Drag Race UK final: Should The Vivienne, Baga Chipz or Divina De Campo be crowned the winner?

The first series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK has been one of this year's biggest TV talking points.

In just seven episodes, the BBC spin-off has managed to bring an idiosyncratic British sense of humour to the hit US franchise.

The array of hilarious tasks - from a Downton Abbey ‘inspired’ sketch to a runway challenge inspired by Her Majesty the Queen - and the brilliant cast of contestants has endeared the show to swathes of new viewers, too.

It’s proved such a success that the broadcaster has already said “Shantay, you stay” and commissioned a second series.

Last Thursday’s episode saw fan favourites Baga Chipz, The Vivienne and Divina de Campo named as finalists - but which queen deserves to be crowned the show’s first ever British winner?

Look back at the top three contestants’ best moments and cast your vote in our poll…

Baga Chipz

Scene stealer: Baga is known for her sharp sense of humour (BBC / World of Wonder / Guy Levy)

Baga's outrageous sense of humour, sassy comebacks and meme-worthy facial expressions have made her a hit with viewers. Her confidence was a little shaken during last week's drag makeover challenge and she ended up having to lip sync for her life - we'll be keeping our fingers crossed that she's back on top form for the final.

Best moment: Though her performance in ‘Downton Draggy’ (which spawned her “Much better!” catchphrase) certainly deserves a mention, the girl group challenge was Baga’s defining moment - and we’ve had her (extremely NSFW) opening verse to Break Up (Bye Bye) going round and round in our heads ever since...

The Vivienne

Double act: The Vivienne walked the runway with her mum (BBC / World of Wonder / Guy Levy)

The Scouse queen has barely put a (high-heeled) foot wrong in the competition so far, and has earned praise - and several RuPeter badges - for her dramatic catwalk looks. Her runway appearance with her mum (aka The Mother) was one of the series' most heartwarming moments as viewers could clearly see the close bond between the pair.

Best moment: A talented impersonator who has nailed her Kim Woodburn impression, The Vivienne had plenty of options when it came to episode four’s Snatch Game. Her decision to take on Donald Trump certainly paid off, with judge Michelle Visage branding it one of the best performances in the show’s history.

Divina de Campo

Creative: Divina's talents shone in the ad challenge (BBC / World of Wonder / Guy Levy)

Divina has brought a wealth of drag scene experience to her time on the show, but she's also raised some important issues, opening up about her experiences of homophobia and the impact that Section 28, the law introduced by Margaret Thatcher which banned the "promotion of homosexuality" in schools, had on her as a child.

Best moment: Though her co-stars (and some viewers) were initially baffled by the high-concept vision for her bottled water advert in episode six, her hard work paid off when the judges were impressed by her creative ideas. She also put in a strong performance in episode seven's runway challenge, giving her pregnant younger sister Carys a special drag makeover.

The RuPaul's Drag Race final is on BBC iPlayer at 8pm on Friday, November 21.
