Strictly Come Dancing have confirmed another famous face for its 2024 Christmas special.

This marks the first time in Strictly history that a drag queen has competed on the show.
Sharing their excitement to strap on some dancing shoes, Tayce said: “I cannot wait to sleigh on the Strictly Ballroom floor. My partner and I are going to dance for our lives! In all seriousness, it’s an incredible honour to be the first Drag artist to be taking part in Strictly Come Dancing.
“I hope I do all of my Drag Race and Welsh fans proud! Sign me up for all the glitz, glam and disco balls.”

Also set to compete in the Christmas special is The Last Leg and Taskmaster star Josh Widdicombe.
The comedian is set to throw some shapes alongside Strictly pro Karen Hauer in the upcoming festive episode.
"I am utterly terrified this will end in humiliation and worried I’m going to be so bad I will ruin Christmas for the nation," he joked.

The Christmas special will also see the return of the Strictly judges: Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas.
After all six celebrity contestants have performed their festive inspired routines, a winner will be selected by the studio audience. The audience will vote for their favourite couple and the winners will be awarded the sought-after Christmas trophy.
The Strictly Christmas special usually airs on BBC One on Christmas Day, but this year’s air date and time has not yet been confirmed.
Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
