RuPaul's Drag Race UK is just over a month away from finally hitting screens, and we finally know the line-up of queens who will be competing for the crown.

The stars of this year's series have been chatting to Gay Times about the differences between the British version and its American counterpart.

One thing we will be interested in seeing is if the UK show will feature as many confrontational moments that (for better or worse) have become such a big part of the US show.

Contestant Blu Hydrangea has spoken a bit about that, promising that the cast really have a strong "sisterhood".

Having said that, she also teases that there will be a big "bust-up that will be made into great merchandising".

"There's very little catfighting," The Voice UK and All Together Now alum Divina De Campo chimed in. "We're very supportive of each other and everyone wants each other to do well."

Fellow contestant and Girls Aloud impersonator Cheryl Hole has added that "we do not take ourselves so seriously and we've got a very different sense of humour", while Crystal talks about the British interpretation of the camp sensibility.

"The queens are probably a lot less polished than what you see on the American version," she said. "The sets are the same, the judges are the same, but you've got this weird new cast of sisters to watch."

RuPaul's Drag Race UK premieres October 3 on BBC Three. All-Stars 5 and season 12 are airing in the US soon.
