The British star is now married to Kirsty Gallacher’s sister Laura, who he has two children with, but according to The Sun he still feels he needs to make amends with his first wife.
A source apparently told the newspaper that the 44-year-old was hoping to meet up with Perry, 34, on a trip to Los Angeles and was said to have the blessing of his wife to clear the air.
Perry has moved on to a new love, too - she is now engaged to another UK star, Orlando Bloom.

Brand has previously said that he still thinks about his ex fondly, telling Billboard in 2017: “I still feel very warm towards her. I feel like when I hear about her or see her, ‘Aw, there’s that person. There’s that person in the world.’”
However, Perry has previously spoken about the painful split to Us Weekly, saying: “I’m not the kind of person who is always like, ‘what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.’
“I was in bed for about two weeks. I was pretty f***ed, yes, it hurt a lot - I got a good knock.
“Unfortunately, although I had the outward self-identity, I didn’t have the inner kind, I hadn’t built that up.

Perry’s hit single Teenage Dream is famously about her relationship with Brand when the pair were still together.
