TV presenters Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford have announced they are getting divorced after 14 years of marriage.

The couple, who married in 2010, have issued a statement in which they confirm their marriage "is over". The announcement comes after rumours began circulating over the last few days.

In a joint statement, the spokesperson said: "Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing."

The couple have worked together for years on ITV's This Morning show but eagle-eyed fans have noticed they haven't been pictured together over the past few weeks. They are well known for their affectionate bickering, which often happened right in front of the ITV cameras, the MEN reports.

Ruth has not posted about her husband on social media since July 2022. Ruth and Eamonn were first introduced by mutual friends and dated for over 10 years until Eamonn proposed, with the couple tying the knot in 2010. Questioned about the secret behind their relationship, Ruth has said: "I think always respect, mutual respect.

"And we laugh a lot. I think love and lust and everything's wonderful at the start of a relationship. But really...you've got to have that connection as friends where you feel comfortable with each other."
