Ruth Langsford signed by ITV I’m A Celebrity and flies to Australia to get over Eamonn Holmes
Ruth Langsford has been signed by I’m A Celebrity bosses - as she jets Down Under to get over her marriage heartbreak from Eamonn Holmes. Ruth will head to Australia to support Jane Moore, it has been reported, as the new series kicks off.
An insider said: “It’s been a tough year for Ruth and she’s been putting her best foot forward, she’s thrilled to have been asked to appear on this the spin off show and fly to Australia ahead of Christmas." They told the Sun newspaper: “She’s rooting for Jane and can’t wait to give her opinion on how she is getting on.
“The production team are particularly excited they have landed Ruth to join them as they think she’ll be amazing and give the new format a boost.” Moore is ready for a new challenge - having recently split from her husband. It will be Jane's first foray into reality TV with the telly favourite having always said no to reality shows in the past.

In her Sun column, she said: "Turning to the mirror, the reflection staring back at me is wearing one of the most iconic outfits on British television . . . and reality finally hits.
"S**t, I’m entering the I’m A Celebrity jungle. As you read this, I will already be squirrelled away in an Australian hotel room, stripped of all communication devices and bracing myself to face any number of horrors for the purposes of your entertainment."
Jane, who stars opposite Ruth on the ITV panel show, went on and asked herself in the newspaper: "Why? It’s a question I asked myself when I was first approached to take part in the 2010s, and the answer was a firm “thanks, but no thanks”."
Jane has been part of ITV’s Loose Women since 1999.
