Ruth Langsford's brutal revenge on Eamonn Holmes after betrayal leaves pals in hysterics
Despite Ruth Langsford's 'dignified' approach towards her divorce from Eamonn Holmes, sources claim she has sought revenge after his public display of romance with new girlfriend Katie Alexander.
Last weekend, the pair enjoyed a luxury trip in Barcelona, Spain, where Eamonn Holmes, 64, had his arms around Katie, 42, at her waist. They were later seen arriving at his new bachelor pad in Kingston, South West London, after Eamonn's shocking departure from the home he once shared with Ruth in Weybridge, Surrey.
In a past interview, Eamonn expressed his desire to stay friends with his ex, but Ruth has clearly moved on, leaving no chance for reconciliation.

Just days before his trip with Katie, Eamonn made an unexpected return to his old home to grab some holiday clothes for their cruise. Taking advantage of the moment, Ruth has cheekily removed the £2,000 stairlift, which was used to help him navigate the curved staircase to his old bedroom due to his debilitating back condition, the Mirror reports.
A source said: "Ruth has remained quiet and classy. Even when people bring up what Eamonn has been up to, she stays silent and just smiles. She thinks that is the best way. She has had a lot of support from her friends. But one thing she would see every day was the stairlift which Eamonn installed. Ruth doesn't need it.
"She's super-fit and healthy but she knew Eamonn probably would struggle when he had to go the house to get some bits he needed for the holiday. The bedrooms are upstairs and he needed to get to them."
They added to The Daily Mail: "It might seem petty but Ruth's friends think it is absolutely hilarious as they think he has really taken her for a ride. You can imagine how furious Eamonn was. He was probably expecting to be able to use the stairlift to get his stuff and quickly get out again and pack for his holiday."
It comes just as Coleen Nolan praised her Loose Women co-star for her "dignity and pride" after her split from her ex. The former This Morning' duo, both 64, announced their breakup in May after 14 years of marriage and now Coleen has opened up about how her pal is handling things.
She told Woman magazine: "I will say from a friend's point of view is, I've never met anyone that has handled something with so much dignity and pride. She's just such a lady, more of a lady then I'll ever be, I would've spilled my guts right now."
Coleen, who has been divorce twice before herself, admitted she has tried giving Ruth some advice, but her friend has taken her own path. She added: "I've given her advice but she doesn't listen to me, I'm going, 'How can you not say anything?' But I don't need to give her advice."
