It is hard to believe that Ryan Phillippe is in his 40s, with his chiselled abs and 20-something looking skin. So it came as no surprise that his fans have been gushing about his latest photos.
The Cruel Intentions actor shared a couple of photographs from a recent beach shoot for Men's Fitness magazine. In them he shows off a ripped upper body while posing with a surfboard and the sun does a great job of highlighting the 42-year-old's muscles and washboard abs.
"Despite my resting b***h face, I had fun working w @rikerbrothers today. Buy @mensfitnessmag this june," he promoted on his Instagram account alongside the images.
Following the post, one fan of The Way Of The Gun star expressed her awe on Twitter. "Ryan Phillippe is so old and so hot. How is it possible?" she wrote in a 20 April post.
"One of life's great mysteries... so old, so hot... I'm like the sun," Phillippe joked in response, to which the fan replied cheekily: "If you are the sun, I like to sunbathe."
