Ryan Reynolds Appeared to Have Meltdown on TV So Naturally His Wife Blake Lively Trolled Him About it

It’s no secret that Blake Lively, 35, and Ryan Reynolds, 46, are one of our fave celeb couples to follow on social media. We can’t get enough of their playful trolling and funny pranks. And this time around, the Gossip Girl alum is poking fun at her hubby again on Instagram—and it’s easy to see why.

Over the weekend, The Age of Adaline star shared a video on her Instagram Story, capturing her husband in total freak-out mode on television.

In the clip, Reynolds has a worried look on his face as watches his soccer team, Wrexham AFC, play against Sheffield United. (ICYMI: Both teams were competing against each other in the 2023 FA Cup at the Racecourse Ground Stadium in England.)

Lively revealed in the caption, “I bought ESPN+ today. Just to watch my husband experience crippling anxiety live. Worth it.”

She added, “If you're not watching this insane @wrexham_afc game right now you're missing out on these vibes. They’re playing a team 3 leagues higher. And currently winning. Life makes no sense.”

This is certainly not the first time Lively roasted her husband on social media. Back in October 2021, Reynolds shared a snap from his new Christmas movie Spirited, also starring Will Ferrell. In the caption, the Deadpool star joked about taking a three-year-long break from acting after filming the project.

And of course, Lively saw an opportunity to casually poke fun at her husband about the proposed break. “Michael Caine did it first,” she wrote in the comments section of the post, referring to reports of the actor choosing to retire. (FYI, the reports were later proven to be false by Variety.)

Reynolds, who co-owns the Wrexham AFC with fellow actor Rob McElhenney, documents their entire journey with the England football team in the FX series, Welcome to Wrexham. And sports fans will see the continuation of this story because the show has been renewed for a second season by the network.

We never get tired of these two.
