How is Ryan Reynolds going to top the Avengers: Infinity War-topping box office success of Deadpool 2? Well, with Detective Pikachu… but he's also thinking of joining forces with Netflix.

Reynolds is in talks to collaborate with Transformers director Michael Bay and Altered Carbon production company Skydance on the biggest Netflix movie ever, called Six Underground.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Six Underground would reunite Reynolds with his Deadpool 2 screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick for yet another action-adventure project.

The film apparently revolves around six billionaires who are forced to fake their own deaths in order to form an elite special ops team to track down the most dangerous criminals on earth.

Six Underground is the latest attempt by Netflix to partner with bankable Hollywood film stars, following its early success with Adam Sandler.

Most recently, Netflix ordered a sequel to Will Smith's supernatural buddy cop movie Bright, which quickly developed a passionate fanbase in spite of overtly hostile critical reviews.

Also coming down the pike from Netflix is the Martin Scorsese/Al Pacino/Robert De Niro/Joe Pesci collaboration The Irishman, Oscar Isaac's Triple Frontier, Alicia Vikander's thriller Earthquake Bird and potentially a film spin-off of its hit comedy series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

Ryan Reynolds is also busy with the aforementioned live-action Pokemon movie Detective Pikachu, the Deadpool spin-off X-Force as well as a Hitman's Bodyguard sequel called - get this - The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard.

Six Underground is set to go into production later this year, for a 2019 release.
