Ryanair has released a statement after one of its flights to Tenerife had to alert authorities over disruptive passengers - including one who reportedly urinated in the aisle. The plane had taken off from East Midlands Airport and was part way through the four and an half hour flight to the Canary island when a "small group" of passengers began playing up.

Shocked crew decided to alert police on the ground in Tenerife so they could board the flight when it touched down. It was claimed one passenger was spotted urinating in the aisle.

Amid the chaotic scenes, the flight landed safely in Tenerife on Monday, November 4 before police boarded to remove the disruptive passengers. Ryanair has now released some details about what happened on the flight.
