The USA need to reach 14 1/2 points to win the Ryder Cup, remember. Europe need 14 to retain it.
00:33 , Tom Rostance
Tommy Fleetwood: “It was a pleasure to be involved in that match. We did great, played great and they played some incredible golf. It would have been nice to win.”
Thomas/Cantlay tied with Fleetwood/Hovland
00:31 , Tom Rostance
Thomas rolls it in, the point is shared and USA lead 6-2 overnight.
Thomas/Cantlay A/S Fleetwood/Hovland
00:30 , Tom Rostance
Fleetwood pops in for par. Well played.
00:29 , Tom Rostance
He didn’t hit it. A long way short.
Thomas/Cantlay A/S Fleetwood/Hovland
00:29 , Tom Rostance
Hovland doesn’t get particularly close with his putt. So it’s a chance for Justin Thomas to take the point. Not easy. Maybe 25 feet.
00:26 , Tom Rostance
Cantlay also with a superb bunker shot. To within a few feet.
Thomas/Cantlay A/S Fleetwood/Hovland
00:25 , Tom Rostance
Fleetwood from the sand - almost holes it! What a chip, it skips past the hole and across.
Thomas/Cantlay A/S Fleetwood/Hovland
00:22 , Tom Rostance
Justin Thomas takes an age over his shot - but delivers. That’s a good approach, high of the hole and in prime position.
Thomas/Cantlay A/S Fleetwood/Hovland
00:19 , Tom Rostance
Over to you Hovland. On the green but deep.
Thomas/Cantlay A/S Fleetwood/Hovland
00:19 , Tom Rostance
Cantlay’s second on the finale - in the sand. Tommy Fleetwood up next, plonks it in the very same bunker!
00:14 , Tom Rostance
Even with the tide turning against Europe Rory McIlroy insisted they were far from out of things. “We can come back from 6-2. If it’s 6-2, we can come back,” said the Northern Irishman.
“I haven’t seen Tony Finau putt as good as that in a long time and when you got a couple like that on form, on a difficult golf course where it’s sort of hard to make birdies, if you’re not quite a 100 per cent on top of your game, it’s tough.”
00:10 , Tom Rostance
A European win on this 18th would make such a difference...
Thomas/Cantlay A/S Fleetwood/Hovland
00:09 , Tom Rostance
Wow, that’s a superb effort once again - Thomas rolls it stone dead but it’s an inch or so wide.
They will go to the 18th all square.
Thomas/Cantlay A/S Fleetwood/Hovland
00:08 , Tom Rostance
Viktor Hovland is close to knocking in a fine birdie on 17 but it’s long. Can Justin Thomas win the hole?
00:04 , Tom Rostance
Jon Rahm: “We’re a little tired, it was a good battle. The wind picked up but we birdied two of the last three. It feels good to get that half point, things like this can turn the tide.”
Dechambeau/Scheffler tied with Rahm/Hatton
00:02 , Tom Rostance
Tyrrell Hatton - nails his putt! That’s half a point and who knows how important that could yet be?
00:00 , Tom Rostance
Jon Rahm is so, so close...but misses.

1 UP Dechambeau/Scheffler v Rahm/Hatton
23:41 , Tom Rostance
Tyrrell Hatton goes for broke and lips out with a massive putt! That was huge. Great effort. It goes to the 18th and there’s still a chance for half a point for Europe.
Thomas/Cantlay v Fleetwood/Hovland 1 UP
23:39 , Tom Rostance
Europe still up in the last match through 15.

1 UP Dechambeau/Scheffler v Rahm/Hatton
23:31 , Tom Rostance
U-S-A! U-S-A!
Raucous as both Americans land safely on the green. Over to you, Jon Rahm. Looks a bit chilly now in fact.
Rahm punches in to 17, on the green but a long way back.
23:28 , Tom Rostance
US golfer Tony Finau to Sky Sports: “You’ve just got to enjoy it, all these people out here cheering us on. I learned that in Paris. Enjoy it, it’ll keep you loose and I was able to roll the rock well today.”
1 UP Dechambeau/Scheffler v Rahm/Hatton
23:26 , Tom Rostance

1 UP Dechambeau/Scheffler v Rahm/Hatton
23:25 , Tom Rostance
Fantastic putt from world number one Jon Rahm! That puts the pressure on. Can Scheffler tie the hole?
23:23 , Tom Rostance
It’s still possible for Europe to come out of this session at 2-2 but anything less than that and it’s going to be very tough you’d think.
Johnson/Schauffele beat Casey/Wiesberger 2&1
23:19 , Tom Rostance
And there’s another point on the board. USA 5-1 up!
Finau/English beat McIlroy/Lowry 5&3
23:15 , Tom Rostance
He barely missed a putt all round and Tony Finau sinks one to tie this one up.
USA go 4-1 up.
23:11 , Tom Rostance
The crowd getting rowdier and rowdier out there - a bunch of them are singing the US anthem loudly now as the players hit the 17th green. It’s looking like a very tidy advantage for the hosts overnight.
