Rylan Clark-Neal has bagged himself yet another hosting gig, and it sounds like his latest venture is going to be one of the most dangerous game shows out there.
The Wave, which will debut on W, combines those classic game show features of cold hard cash, sun, sea... and waves. We see where it gets its name now.
Rylan will invite the brave and plucky contestants to the Atlantic coast of Portugal in pairs, where the first stays on dry land and the second is shipped off to the ocean to do the other's bidding.
Not only will contestants have to refine their front crawl, they'll have to brush up on their general knowledge, too – as the further they swim out to sea, the more questions they have to answer.
It's worth it for the money, right?
Despite it sounding pretty terrifying from the comfort of our very dry, very still office, Rylan is "so looking" forward to seeing how The Wave will work out.
"It's sunny, it's sexy and it's funny," he said of the new show. "What more could you want!"
"I can't wait to work with an amazing team, playing a really fun game and can't wait to meet our brave contestants who are going to be taking on The Wave," he added.
Fingers crossed it gets a better initial response than Babushka did...
